Vehicle Description
This custom 1998 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is powered by a
5.7-liter LS1 engine paired with a 4L60 automatic transmission.
This car features T-Tops, power windows and door locks, and factory
air conditioning for comfort. Performance upgrades include an SLP
cold-air intake kit, SLP thermostat, Bullet Racing camshaft and
valve springs, TrickFlow Molly pushrods, a ported and polished
throttle body, Pacesetter ceramic-coated long-tube headers with a
Y-pipe and cutouts, a Flowmaster muffler, GM Performance Parts
ignition wires with new spark plugs and a new GM water pump. This
car also has a custom-tuned 175hp Zex Blackout nitrous kit, along
with an Edge Racing 3600-rpm stall converter and a custom shift
kit. This drivetrain features an original rear end with a new
Motive 4.10 gear set, an Eaton posi-traction limited-slip
differential and Moser 31-spline non-tapered axles with ARP wheel
studs, as well as a Moser rear end cover and girdle. Handling is
improved with all-new struts and shocks, UMI adjustable torque arm,
lower control arms and a Panhard bar, as well as new front and rear
poly sway bar bushings and links. The car sits on Weld Prostar
wheels and Mickey Thompson 255/60/15 drag radials, with skinny
tires up front. For stopping power, it has all-new ACDelco brakes.
The transmission has been upgraded with a custom deep aluminum pan,
and the car also features a custom aluminum yoke, bearings and a
shift kit. This Trans Am has been modified and tuned for
