Vehicle Description
This custom four-wheel-drive1984 Jeep CJ7 underwent a multi-year
refurbishment, including a replacement Throttle Down Kustoms frame
and a steel body tub from Willys-Overland Motors. Power comes from
an upgraded rebuilt 318ci Mopar V8 engine equipped with a Holley
600-cfm 4-barrel carburetor, Weiand intake manifold and MagnaFlow
dual exhaust system. It has a TorqueFlite 727 automatic
transmission, shortened and rebuilt before installation, paired
with a Dana 300 dual-range transfer case to send power to the rear
or all four wheels. The suspension features a 4-inch Skyjacker lift
with leaf springs and Nitro 8000 shocks, while stopping is handled
by front disc brakes and an overhauled rear drum system with
stainless-steel brake lines. Additional drivetrain upgrades include
Mile Marker manually locking front hubs, a Hydro 7000 steering
damper, a Borgeson heavy-duty steering shaft and Rugged Ridge
heavy-duty tie rods. Exterior features include a black soft-top,
removable doors, a polished front bumper, a swing-away rear tire
carrier and Quadratec auxiliary lights. The interior features
Bestop seating, a padded roll bar, a retro-look digital stereo and
a three-spoke steering wheel. The instrument panel houses a
replacement 85-mph speedometer, inset fuel and coolant temperature
gauges, and auxiliary gauges for amperage and oil pressure. The
five-digit odometer was reset during the build and now shows 1,400
miles, reflecting mileage since completion, with total chassis
mileage unknown. ** PREVIEW
