Vehicle Description
This 1966 Chevrolet El Camino custom pickup came from Oregon with a
solid body requiring paint, minor bodywork, an engine,
transmission, brakes, interior and chrome. It has been completely
rebuilt, including a detailed engine bay, undercarriage and inside
of the bed area. The powertrain consists of a 350ci engine from
another vehicle paired with a rebuilt Turbo Hydramatic 3-speed
transmission and dual exhaust. The restoration included a new
windshield, wiper motor, lighting, front suspension, power brakes,
power steering, door gaskets and all-new chrome. Bodywork involved
straightening the panels, repairing a few dents and professionally
replacing three small rust spots with new metal via TIG welding.
The pickup retains its original body panels, doors, quarter-panels,
fenders, hood and tailgate. It rides on 15-inch Corvette wheels
with new tires. The interior was fully redone, retaining the
original radio, which is non-functional. It also includes the
original spare tire and jack. ** PREVIEW
