In 1948, Sir William Lyons introduced the Jaguar XK120, and the world was turned upside down. A sports car that wasn’t just breathtakingly beautiful but also incredibly fast for its time. No wonder everyone wanted one.
The Jaguar XK120 SE (Special Equipment) was the sportier big brother, the cool kid in class, the one you wanted to hang out with during gym class. Thanks to more power (180 hp instead of 160 hp), a higher compression ratio, sportier camshafts, and a dual exhaust, the SE was faster and sharper than its standard sibling. Add to that a tighter suspension, thicker torsion bars, lightweight wire wheels, and integrated fog lamps, and you have a classic Jaguar celebration. Just a Proper JAGGG!
The Cool Classic Club is offering a sublimely restored XK120 SE. In 2021, this Jaguar underwent a full body-off nut & bolt restoration, with every detail carefully returned to its original state. Crucially, the car has retained its original matching numbers.
