Vehicle Description
Zoom Classic Cars presents this highly original, very low mileage,
1963 Cadillac Coupe Deville 2dr Hardtop. Original mileage currently
shows just under 29k miles wearing a mostly original exterior color
of (Code-29) Turino Turquoise, with matching fabric turquoise
interior. This coupe falls into the second-generation Cadillac de
Ville series introduced in 1961 and restyled in 1963 with longer
front fenders, lower-profile tailfins, and a taller radiator grille
for a bolder appearance. This beauty is truly a gently used time
capsule, obviously been well cared for out of the weather and
retains a very original appearance including some factory build
markings on the firewall. The factory 390Ci V8 runs well and quiet,
optioned with power steering, power brake and factory air
conditioning through to its 4 speed Hydramatic transmission (shift
pattern PND1D2LR) setting the wheels in motion. The exterior body
is in amazing shape with a few minor scratches and retains a mostly
factory finish with some areas showing previous refinish work and
matching extremely well. Interior complements the overall state of
this car, cloth seats are excellent with some minor wear, working
accessories include 6 way front power seat, power windows including
power vent windows, power door locks and factory air conditioning.
Additional options include soft ray tinted glass and tilt steering
wheel. The factory radio is included with the sale and was replaced
with a modern replacement with Bluetooth and USB capability (looks
to be a Classic Car Stereos model. All gauges appear to function,
and the overall interior appearance is amazing. This car has seen
extensive routine maintenance work in the last few years with
invoice copies available - totaling over $19k. High level overview
of work completed includes carpet replacement, radio/system, power
seat overhaul, power window service, tires, shocks, brakes, heater
core, blower motor, AC System overhaul & 134A conversion, engine
exterior overhaul such as fuel pump, water pump, belts, hoses, HEI
ignition upgrade, carb rebuild, alternator upgrade to single wire,
trans service, gaskets, battery, antifreeze with thermostat, tune
up plugs & wires. Current disclosure items include the air
conditioning system requires charging (but is trying to cool) - the
car has been in storage and should receive a general checkup.
Overall, this car is amazing, very solid and an eye-catching
classic, tires are in great shape with plenty of tread to take with
beauty down the road and make more memories. The seller is
motivated to move this classic; the majority of routine maintenance
work is complete and extensive and with no spare of expense. Priced
to move, currently located in Bergen County, NJ and shown by
appointment, call Scott (201) 483-0388.
