The Cobra was meticulously built in 2006 & 2007 by Italian Scott Manno, former Chief Mechanic of Sam Hornish, Jr. Scott was Chief Mechanic the year Sam Hornish, Jr. received Rookie of the Year honors in the IndyCar circuit. Scott was also Chief Mechanic of other IndyCar drivers, and Chief Mechanic of 24 hours of Daytona drivers. Scott has over 15 years of chief mechanic experience on various race teams. E.R.A. cars have won the "Best Cobra Replica" competition at the annual Shelby American meet several years in a row (ERA Website). This car is E.R.A. #712.
Two brothers were the only owners and drivers of this car. Odometer reads 13,800 miles. All build receipts and pictures are available.
Powertrain
The engine was purchased through the Carroll Shelby performance shop in Las Vegas, NV. Scott Manno spoke with Carrol Shelby during the purchase. The engine is an aluminum block Keith Craft 427 FE engine stroked to a 482 cubic inch monster. Scott tested the car fully assembled and achieved 680 HP. The Lakewood Safety Bellhousing houses a Centerforce clutch. It has a Richman Gear 5 speed manual transmission with 3:07 rear gear ratio with posi-traction. MSD ignition and MSD Pro-Billet distributor. Holly Street HP Carburetor.
Body/Interior
All P & G paint was used on the Cobra. Painted by Connecticut Custom Car (frame off). Unique color combination of Mazda Merlot Red with Lamborghini Titanium metallic stripes. Powder coated chassis. Leather interior. Light Gray leather and carpet. Light gray side pipe competition style exhaust with silver ceramic coating. Driver side roll bar. Extra heavy duty fan, cooling system expansion tank, original style 6" high cooler assembly with shroud, carburetor cold air box, heater/defroster, emergency brake handle, 3" lap belts with 2" should belts, 16" steering wheel as original. 6 pin drive hubs. Knock off aluminum wheels (Halibrand style) with Dunlop tires. The Cobra has 12.3” front rotors with 4 piston calipers. Outboard disc brake system. Aluminum rear subframe with independent suspension. Rack and Pinion Steering.

Car runs great and finish looks great. Car has routine maintenance performed by a mechanic who also assists Eldora Speedway drivers with their engines. Always used Mobil 1 Oil for excellent protection.
