While this is not a trailer queen the stance, paint, and interior are excellent for a 30-year-old vehicle. Paint shines and looks great with minor imperfections (chip and some crazing on hood, surface scuffs and scratches on tailgate, etc.) Truck starts every time, stops true, and runs strong and clean in its OEM spec CA smog engine configuration. Only power mods are the Flowmaster and K&N air filter but there is a lot more potential in this powertrain if you go beyond the CA limitations (NOTE: The CA '95-'96 5.8 trucks were outfitted with "mass air" method of measuring the airflow into the engine and determining the resulting fuel/timing needs which is much more tolerant to engine modifications. The alternative "speed density" method uses inputs from several sensors to pick values from pre-determined tables. Mass air uses a meter in the incoming air stream just downstream from the airbox to measure the airflow directly and then calculate air/fuel needs. The CA ’95-’96 5.8 trucks got mass air, while the 49-state trucks only had it in ’96.)
The interior is very clean and mostly stock still sporting OEM upholstery and carpet. Back seat looks untouched while the front seats are very nice with minor blemishes and fully-functional armrests (a common failure.) Carpet has minor wear and fading but still looks good and remains in place due to superior OEM quality and thickness compared to aftermarket replacements. Door and dash panels are also very solid with typical small cracks in door pockets and near defrost vent (barely visible). All interior lights and controls work flawlessly except for the rear window defroster. Headliner looks brand new and the roof looks like it may have never been removed and does not leak. No rust whatsoever on any body panels (also a common problem especially door and tailgate bottoms but this rig is solid.)
Undercarriage is very straight with minor surface rust typical of pavement moisture but no signs whatsoever of offroad abuse (never taken offroad by current owner.) Oil changed regularly and professionally detailed inside and out periodically.
We planned on keeping this classic OBS Ford forever and will include several extra parts with the sale (front wheel well trim, new custom floor mats, replacement weatherstripping, passenger visor with vanity mirror) and documentation (engine fluid analysis, Carfax, deluxe Marti report.) Personal situation has changed and must sell. Nearly $34,000 spent in the past 4 years, this Bronco needs very little to be show quality and will go another 30 years if given the same care it has enjoyed for its first 30.
Many more pictures and videos available upon request, feel free to make an offer as we need to thin out the collection. Thank you for looking!
