Vehicle Description
This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette 283/270hp "Dual Quad" convertible was
the recipient of a meticulous professional restoration, completed
in February 2025. It is finished in Panama Yellow with Snowcrest
White coves, complemented by a black interior and a white folding
convertible top. Power comes from its solid-lifter 283ci V8 engine,
factory-rated at 270hp, and featuring dual 4-barrel carburetors
mounted on a restored GM Winters aluminum intake manifold. Only
1,846 of these 270hp "Dual Quad" Corvettes were produced for the
1959 model year. This example is equipped with a 4-speed manual
transmission and factory-correct details, including finned valve
covers with period-correct 270hp decals, a restored 1102043
Delco-Remy generator dated 9B6 and high-polished ignition
shielding. The recent restoration was performed with high attention
to detail, ensuring both authenticity and functionality. The
interior features new carpeting with matching floor mats, a
restored instrument cluster, a new AM/FM radio and a refinished
center climate-control panel. The exterior received a show-quality
basecoat/clearcoat paint finish, and all chrome and brightwork
present exceptionally well. This Corvette rides on Coker Classic
wide whitewall tires, complemented by polished full-face wheel
covers with two-bar spinner center caps. The brake and fuel systems
were fully restored. ** PREVIEW
