It's a Low Life! That's the name given to this custom C-10 with
high end air ride that can slam it to the ground! This is a killer
example of a very popular square body truck decked out and slammed!
Only 1,720 miles on the frame off custom build.
EXTERIOR: I love the look of this truck! The colors, the wheels and
of course the stance. The body is restored very nicely. It is
clean, straight metal that fits right. The stake pockets were
filled in on the bed and the fuel door was filled in and relocated.
It's painted a very refreshing light blue metallic with a very
smooth glossy finish. The sides are offset in a matte finish gray.
The chrome trim is shiny and straight. Did you notice the fun
emblems on the fenders? They are billet and they say Low Life! 22
inch US Mags are extra wide with a polished lip and the spokes are
color matched to the truck.
INTERIOR: I also love the blue with plaid upholstery. The seat is a
custom Snowden bench seat with great contours. The original door
panels have plaid inserts to match the seat. The dash area is in
excellent shape. Upgraded with Dakota Digital gauges and Vintage
Air electric climate controls. The AccuAir control panel is
cleverly installed in the ashtray. It allows you to control the
stance manually, there are preset positions and you can Bluetooth
it to your phone. The Alpine stereo is Bluetooth and there is a
speaker box behind the seat along with custom kick panel speakers.
Other features include a deluxe wheel on a tilt column, power
windows and locks.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This a great looking motor compartment: very
uncluttered and yet interesting. The powerplant is an LS3 6.2L
making 495hp! It has a Stage II hot cam, ported heads, Holley
Sniper intake and stainless headers. It's dressed really nice with
Chevrolet script covers and hand pinstripe on the intake. The front
runner system has a serpentine belt, blacked out compressor,
alternator, pulleys, and brackets. It features Vintage Air, power
steering and power brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder. It's kept
cool with a big aluminum radiator, custom shroud, and dual electric
fans. It has a custom embossed firewall and matching radiator
cover. The inner fenders were replaced with "slush guards" which
keeps the debris out and still allows it to be slammed down. The
hinges were replaced with struts, hoses were run neatly, wiring is
all but hidden completely and the brake lines are even bent
uniformly.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Open the tailgate and right away you will notice
the upgraded soft open hardware mechanism. The bed floor was raised
to give the clearance so this baby can sit on the ground! It is
clean straight metal painted in a color matched durable bed liner.
The flush mounted fuel filler was relocated to the floor.
UNDERSIDE: The actual air ride is top of the line GSI system which
is much more than just some air bags. Upfront is a complete
crossmember with heavy duty components and reconfigured geometry to
center the wheel in the wheel well and allow for driving and
steering while it is lowered. It includes upgraded rack & pinion
steering. In back is a complete back half restructured frame
section with an inboard 4 link, billet Watt link system, shocks,
and Firestone F9000 air bags. The Wilwood big brake kit with
drilled and slotted disc at all four wheels and 6 piston calipers
in front stops you on a dime and it looks great peeking out from
behind those wheels. It has a custom exhaust with x-pipe and
stainless mufflers. The relocated fuel tank is stainless and
protected with a steel frame structure. The battery is relocated
under the truck too, actually it has 2 Optima batteries. Looking up
at the motor it is clean and has a high torque starter. Upgraded
6L80 overdrive automatic with a 3600 stall converter. The floors
are rock solid; they are actually still wearing their original
factory paint.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
This is a cool, very well built slammed square body! These are a
very popular segment of specialty vehicles. America is the land of
the truck and square bodies are at the top of the pack! This one is
done and ready for fun!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
