When Austin-Healey introduced the 3000 Mk I, they offered two body styles: BT7 (2+2), and BN7 (2 seater). The Mk I BT7 two seater featured here was fitted with a 2.9L inline six engine, and was the more common of the two variants, with 10,825 examples built. Production of the Mk I BT7 lasted until 1961, when it was replaced by the Austin-Healey 3000 BT7 Mk II.

This example is dressed in British Racing Green over a black interior. Features such as the carbs, camshaft, clutch, stainless steel exhaust, leather interior were installed by the previous owner. Documentation mentions the body being restored by Ed Pollard of AutoLab of Portland, Maine. With recent service work performed by none other than our service team, this 1959 Austin Healey is now turn key and ready for the driving season ahead.
