built with convertible frames, featuring enhanced performance
characteristics. These included aluminum front brake drums with
11-inch shoes, higher-rated springs on all four corners, a
heavy-duty sway bar and bushings, and heavy-duty shocks. Magazine
tests from 1967 documented a 14.6-second quarter-mile at 100 mph.
