Description:
This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is noted to have remained
under prior ownership for approximately 25 years, during which time
a restoration was started in 2005 and continued over the next
several years, with a significant portion of the work completed
between 2016 and 2017. The car was acquired by the current owner in
2023 and the 427ci L71 V8 with a replacement thermostat and
distributor in 2025. The car is finished in Goodwood Green over
Saddle vinyl and equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, a
removable hardtop, a Black convertible soft top, 15? turbine-style
wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, side-exit exhaust pipes, a cabin
heater, an AM/FM radio, chrome bumpers, and retractable headlights.
this C2 is now offered with a tank sticker, the owner's manual, the
factory build sheet, restoration receipts, service records,
restoration photos, and a clean Florida title.
Interior:
The three-spoke steering wheel frames restored and rebuilt
instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer
with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level,
amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit
odometer shows around 100 miles, approximately 5 of which were
added under current ownership.
Exterior:
The fiberglass body was removed from the frame and refinished in
Goodwood Green (983) with a black stinger stripe in 2016 by
Eismann's Corvette Center of Jupiter, Florida. Features include a
removable hardtop, a Black convertible soft top, a stinger hood,
retractable headlights, chrome split bumperettes, fender vents, a
driver-side mirror, and a side-exit exhaust system with heat
shields. The turbine-style 15? wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich
Radial tires with 2002 date codes. The car features a fully
independent suspension, with upper and lower control arms at the
front and a three-link setup with a transverse leaf spring at the
rear. The suspension was overhauled as part of the aforementioned
restoration work. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
Drivetrain:
The 427ci L71 V8 is equipped with three two-barrel carburetors and
was factory rated at 435 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The
engine was rebuilt in 2005, and was overhauled between 2016-2017 as
part of the refurbishment performed by Eismann's Corvette Center.
The associated invoices provided in the gallery below detail
replacing components, refinishing the engine compartment, and more.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual
transmission. The differential was rebuilt with 3.70:1 gearing in
2016.
