Up for sale is a 1952 XK120 OTS. This car has been converted to a Chevy V8 power. The original engine is, unfortunately long gone. The car was NOT butchered to install the Chevy drivetrain. There was no cutting of the firewall, trans tunnel or anything else. This Open Two-Seater, aside from the engine, transmission and altered dash, still has many of its original and desirable features still intact. Extremely important is the fact that the original brass data plate has never been off the car along with the four rivets that Jaguar installed at the factory. In addition, the factory riveted body number tag is still on the dash assembly. As mentioned, the car could easily be put back to original. In 2013, a full wiring harness was installed throughout the car with a new fuse/relay box and very nice connectors. Also, a new aluminum dash panel and gauges was installed. The engine is an early 60s 327/300. The trans is a TH350 automatic that works very well. To my knowledge, the car has never been wrecked. No rust. Just repainted 2 years ago. If you're looking for a Concours show car, keep looking. There are plenty of six figure XKs for sale on Ebay for 20-30K. This is an excellent daily driver and a great candidate for restoration.
