A 1961 Austin Healey MKI 3000 Roadster. Currently red with a black interior, but originally it was the other way around with a black exterior and red interior. All matching numbers car. 63,000 original miles. Mechanically the car runs and drives very well. A lot of mechanical work has been done over the years.
In April 2014, the front end received significant attention with new outer and inner tie rods, a new throttle linkage, a new heat shield, and an electric choke. These updates contribute to the car's responsive handling and smooth operation. Additionally, a steel luggage rack, imported from the UK, was installed in September 2014, adding both practicality and vintage flair.
Further mechanical updates include the replacement of the clutch slave cylinder and hose in October 2015. More recently, in March 2023, the Austin-Healey received new front brakes, including new calipers, ceramic pads, and stainless-steel braided brake hoses, along with a new master cylinder, ensuring reliable stopping power and improved braking performance.
