Vehicle Description
The 1989 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe, a redesigned model built on
a new platform, was praised for its performance, ride quality, and
nimble handling, with some reviewers calling it a "misunderstood
muscle car" or an "underappreciated American GT". The SC's
high-torque engine could easily handle its weight, and it offered
good acceleration and stopping distances. The steering was praised
for being light and precise, with smooth transitions at both high
and low speeds. This is a hard-to-find 5-speed manual and
color-combo, especially being a Super Coupe. It drives very well,
and the interior is in good condition. There are a few electrical
things that could easily be fixed to get this car back to awesome
condition: power locks, power mirrors, sunroof, radio (but we'd
recommend a new aftermarket stereo anyways), and power driver seat.
