Introducing a high-performance 1972 Datsun 240Z powerhouse that
promises exhilarating driving experiences: a stunning vehicle
featuring a 383 Stroker engine with less than 600 miles on it. This
engine boasts a Scat forged rotating assembly and aluminum RPM
heads, complemented by a retro roller valve train and a Vic JR
intake. The performance is further enhanced by a 750 Holley HP
carburetor and a Pro Billet MSD setup, ensuring that this
powertrain is capable of reaching an impressive 1500
horsepower.
The drivetrain includes a freshly built TH400 transmission with a
brake, completed by Bald Man Transmissions, which has also seen
less than 300 miles. A custom 1350 driveshaft connects to a Nismo
rear end featuring a newly built differential with billet half
shafts and a roller setup, geared at 4.11 for optimal performance.
The vehicle is equipped with Weld wheels, featuring newer tires at
the front and decent life left on Mickey Thompson ET Street SS
tires at the rear.
Exhaust flow is managed by a 2.5-inch stainless exhaust system
leading to Flowmaster mufflers, enhancing sound and performance.
The suspension is upgraded with new front shocks and McPherson
struts at the rear, along with new bushings throughout to ensure a
smooth ride. All steering components are new, providing precise
handling. Drilled and slotted rotors improve braking performance,
complemented by a new master cylinder and reservoir lines, with new
disc brakes and calipers installed all around.
On the electronics front, this vehicle is equipped with a Holley
Blue fuel pump and dual filters. The interior features a Pro Stick
shifter with a knob button, new Autometer gauges with an adjustable
shift light, and a switch panel setup for ignition, fuel, and fan
controls. A fuel cell is surrounded by a firewall for safety, while
the battery has been relocated into a box for better weight
distribution.
The paint job is an older style Chevy blue, with shaved handles for
a sleek appearance. The electrical system has been upgraded with a
6AL ignition, a Blaster 2 coil, and a new wiring harness, fuse box,
and distribution blocks, ensuring clean and efficient wiring
throughout the vehicle. A shutoff switch adds an extra layer of
safety.
Inside, the vehicle features a new dash and carpet, along with
good-condition Recaro seats equipped with 4-point harnesses on both
sides. An 8-point roll cage adds structural integrity and safety,
and the fuel cell is enclosed with a firewall surround. The door
cards are clean, and new windows have been installed except for the
rear hatch. Completing the setup are Weld Beadlock wheels, making
this vehicle not only a powerhouse of performance but also a
visually striking machine ready to turn heads on the road.
