Starsky & Hutch was a popular 1970s crime drama TV series that
aired from 1975 to 1979, following Detectives David Starsky and
Kenneth "Hutch" Hutchinson as they tackled crime in the fictional
Bay City. Starsky, the street-smart and impulsive cop, and Hutch,
the more level-headed and methodical partner, formed an iconic duo
known for their undercover work and high-speed chases.
Their signature car, a 1976 Ford Gran Torino, became legendary with
its bright red paint, white vector stripe, and mag wheels.
Nicknamed the "Striped Tomato," the Gran Torino was known for its
aggressive styling and thrilling on-screen pursuits.
