1962 CHEVROLET IMPALA SS 350 CI, VINTAGE A/C, AUTOMATIC TRANS.
W/OVERDRIVE This 1962 Chevy Impala is very impressive. It is
straight from every angle that you look at it. All of the gaps line
up square and flush. The doors shut like new. All of the chrome and
stainless are in excellent condition. It wears a Bright Red that
shows very well. All of the weather stripping and door seals have
been replaced. It has all new tinted glass. It rides on a set of
American Racing Polished Torq Thrust wheels with 215/70/15 on front
and 225/75/15 on the rear. The interior is new from the carpet to
the headliner. It has an Ididit chrome tilt steering column with an
aftermarket wood steering wheel. Looking at the dash-it is in great
shape. All of the gauges are clear and working and there is a retro
AM/FM radio. The Vintage A/C gauges are neatly mounted in the dash.
The headliner is as tight as a drum. The windows roll up and down
with ease. The engine compartment is nice and tidy with its
upgraded late model throttle body fuel injected 350 cubic inch
engine. It also has been upgraded with a power brake booster with
dual master cylinder, front disc brakes, factory valve covers and
chrome air cleaner, factory radiator and fan shroud. Looking up at
the floors-they are all clean metal and painted red with no signs
of rust or patches. The front end has been gone through-it has
tubular lower and upper A-arms, newer springs, shocks and steering
components. The brakes have been rebuilt and upgraded to disc
brakes in the front. There is a newer 2.5" Flowmaster dual exhaust
system that runs all the way out to the rear of the car with chrome
tips. The bottom of the motor is clean as well as the 700R
automatic transmission. The rear suspension has also been gone
through including new springs and shocks. It has a new gas tank,
straps and sending unit. The frame, floors and braces appear to be
very solid and original. The trunk is all solid. The trunk has been
boxed in and carpeted very nicely. There also is new trunk weather
stripping. This is an exceptionally nice '62 Chevy! It has some
nice upgrades- Vintage A/C, 4 speed automatic transmission, front
