Vehicle Description
Cruisin Classics is excited to present this 1984 Ford Mustang GT350
convertible. Ford produced 5,261 20th Anniversary GT350's in 1984
and only 587 were convertibles with 5.0 liter V-8's and 5-speed
manuals like this car - making it quite a rare find! The
anniversary cars were all finished in Oxford White with Canyon Red
interior, and treated with the nostalgic lower rocker GT350
triple-red stripe, red body side moldings, Pony fender emblems, and
unique anniversary dash badge. On top of being rare, this pony
shows only 13,468 miles which the title confirms to be actual! It
certainly does present like a well-cared-for garage-kept car with
super-low miles - this Mustang is a real time capsule. The Oxford
White paint is still in very good condition with few minor
imperfections and the stripe decals on the rockers still look
fantastic. The iconic early-fox body front end features recessed
quad halogen headlights flanking a small grille above a front air
dam with integral factory-installed Marchal fog lamps. The dark red
body side molding and decals really pop against the white body,
while black window trim, dual side mirrors, and door handles add a
nice contrast. The white power-operated convertible top is in
excellent condition, works as it should, and features a clear glass
rear window. Around the back, you'll find a decklid luggage rack,
crystal-clear taillight lenses, "MUSTANG" Ford "Blue Oval" badging,
and a single exhaust with dual chrome tips. This Mustang rolls down
the road on a set of factory aluminum TRX 4-lug wheels all wrapped
in Michelin TRX tires. Take a peek underneath and find an
incredibly clean undercarriage with original factory markings still
visible.
Under the hood is a clean and bone-stock engine bay that's home to
a 5.0 liter HO V-8 that was factory-rated at 175mph. The V-8 is
topped off with finned "Powered by Ford" valve covers, a stock
intake with a 4-barrel carburetor, and a dual snorkel air cleaner
with a "5.0 liter 4V HO" decal. Other highlights include power
steering, power front disc, and rear drum brakes, and working
factory A/C. The peppy V-8 is mated to a 5-speed manual
transmission that sends power to a stock Traction Lok rear
axle.
When you open the driver's door you're greeted by a Canyon Red
interior that looks like it's been frozen in time since 1984!
Everything is OEM stock, meticulously clean, and in amazing
condition. The door panels are a combination of vinyl and carpet
and are equipped with window cranks, map pockets, and toggles for
the side mirrors. The manually adjustable articulated high-back
cloth front sports seats are very comfortable and show no signs of
wear. The rear bench seat offers seating for two and it looks like
it's never been sat in. Between the front seats is a center console
complete with an armrest/storage box, an e-brake lever, a shifter
with a black stitched boot, an ashtray lighter, a digital clock,
and a system monitoring screen. The red vinyl dash is crack-free
and offers working gauges, a speedometer, and a tachometer in black
grey bezels. To the right of the gauges are controls for the HVAC
system which cranks out hot heat and cold A/C with a strong fan on
demand. Beneath those controls in the center of the dash is a
factory Ford AM/FM/Cassette stereo that sounds great. Under the
dash to the driver's left is a switch for the fog lights while to
the right are the power top switch and a pull knob that adds a
power amp boost to your cruisin playlist. Directly ahead of the
driver is a 2-spoke OEM black steering wheel with tilt function and
finger-touch cruise controls. On the column is an extra stalk for
operating the wipers. Ahead of the passenger on the dash is a
20th-anniversary medallion, a numbered limited edition plaque, and
a glove box. Underfoot is a red factory carpet with matching
carpeted mats - all in excellent condition. Back in the trunk is a
red vinyl boot cover in a black vinyl storage bag and a service
spare tire with a jack. This Mustang comes with a Marti report, the
original window sticker, a protector plate, an owner's guide, and
some original brochures.
Whether you're a Mustang collector or just someone looking for a
fun drop-top classic to cruise around in the summer months - this
'84 GT350 is sure to please. This car has lived a pampered life and
it shows no matter where you look. It's loaded up with great
options that all still work they should and it's an absolute blast
to drive - especially with the top down! Give our friendly staff a
call before someone else snatches this beautiful Pony up for
themselves!
