This 1978 Pontiac Firebird was built February 10, 1978 at the Norwood, Ohio plant. Notably, it was ordered as a 6.6L 4-Speed T-Top with lots of options! All the options can be seen in the GM of Canada Documentation. A few of these options include air conditioning, power front disc brakes, power steering, WS6 and W72 special performance packages, G80 posi rear end, AM/FM stereo with cassette, tinted glass, rear window defogger, sport steering wheel, rally gauges, and aluminum wheels. This Firebird is a rust free, unrestored survivor with one repaint. It shows just 3 owners from new and comes with a copy of the original lease agreement from 1978, GM of Canada documents and ownership history report.
It is presented now with 48,500 kilometers on the odometer (believed to be 148,500 actual kilometers or 92,300 miles). The engine and transmission are matching numbers. The car starts and runs very well. The transmission shifts smoothly and with power steering and disc brakes, this car is an excellent cruiser! The paint shows well with only minor flaws throughout. The tan interior is also in good condition with minor flaws throughout. This Firebird rides on 15" cast aluminum wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
