Introduced in 1966, Oldsmobile’s Toronado was noted for its groundbreaking front-wheel-drive system, along with its powerful 425 cu.in. V-8 engine developing 385 horsepower. Paired with its three speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission, it offered smooth acceleration and effortless cruising.
The 1967 Toronado offered for sale is finished in Antique Pewter and it retains the original interior in excellent condition, attesting the low mileage of the vehicle. This Toronado drives as a 24,000-mile car should: smoothly, powerful, straight and without rattles or abnormal sounds. It is equipped with factory air conditioning, power windows, seats and antenna. Although the car has been repainted by the previous owner, it would benefit from wet sand and buffing to bring the finish to an even better look. The trim, chrome, and badges are in excellent condition with some minor blemishes. Power driver’s seat electric works intermittently.
This vehicle was recently donated to America On Wheels Museum in Allentown, PA - a 501(c)(3) institution - as part of its “Car Donation Program”. All proceeds will go towards the Museum operations. Buy a great car supporting a charitable organization!
