This is a lovely 1929 Custom build roadster with many modifications. This
car is 1929 Ford Original steel body. The front end was custom built and
looks like hot rods of the 1950's. The body work and chassis was done by
Don Lowe and was featured in the book The Art of the Hot Rod by Ken
Gross. The car was completed in Nashville Tennessee. The engine is
1981-82 Chevy racing motor. It was built for Indy racing, cubic 262, and
horsepower 420. Dry sump only net, production engine. Chevy ran it at
Indy with these big block alum. Heads with Fuel injection. It ran Nascar with
small wedge heads with 4 barrel. Engine has roller cam by comp cams and
also has roller rockers. 15 quart oil tank in rear of the seat under car for dry
sump system. It has an odd fire. Transmission 350 Turbo, Rear End 9 inch
Ford, Wheels 40 Ford, Dash Panel 32 Auburn, gauges and all. Has
complete louvered belly pan from front to rear.
