Mustang LX Convertible in Great condition with only 71,611 original
miles. This Mustang looks fantastic, runs well, and is an excellent
driver. The Deep Emerald Green over Oxford White leather interior
is a beautiful, and rare color combination that many refer to as
7UP. Only 4,103 "7UP" mustangs were ever produced, with this one
being 1 of the 2,743 equipped with an automatic transmission. It is
also the correct and original color scheme as verified by the codes
on the door tag, which is pictured in this ad. This is an excellent
opportunity to own a classic Mustang LX with low miles that is
ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could
easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase
price in years to come as the market on the Fox body Mustangs is
strong right now and on the rise, especially for examples like this
with such low mileage. The low original mileage is verified not
only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title
showing the mileage as "Actual." Please peruse all of the photos,

how nice, clean, and original this Mustang LX Convertible really

Like stated above there were only 4,103 7UP mustangs produced and
2,743 of those produced came with an automatic transmission. They
are wrapped in Deep Emerald Green paint with a white leather
interior, matched with a bright white convertible top. These
particular mustangs definitely stand out and are getting harder and
harder to find each day. This is a good example of a rare survivor
from when Ford was really coming back to life in the market.

Exterior
The Deep Emerald Green exterior is in Great driver condition. As
one can see in the photos the finish has a terrific gloss, deep
shine, and smooth finish. The convertible top is in good condition
with no major imperfections. The Hurricane wheels are in great
condition, wrapped in Bridgestone/Starfire tires. The tires are in
good condition with plenty of tread left. There are no major
imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the
photos. There are some very tiny blemishes that were too small to
show up in the pictures, but nothing that is really noticeable from
about five or ten feet away. This Mustang has no major rust issues.
As one can see in the many photos of the underside of the car, it
is very clean underneath. We have included specific photos of the
rear spring mounts, rockers, lower quarter panels, and the area's
most prone to rust to show how nice this car looks.
Interior
The Oxford White leather interior in this Mustang is in good
survivor condition. The seats are in okay shape and look as good in
person as they do in the photos with no major stains/damage. The
driver side bolster shows its age, and can be seen in the photos
above. The carpet is also in great condition with no holes or
tears. The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are
crystal clear. The door panels are in excellent shape and the door
pulls are solid and intact. The dash and console are in great
condition with no fading, or sun damage. The jack and jack handle
are still with the car. The original space saver spare is still
with the car and has never been used. This Mustang has never been
smoked in; there are no burns marks and no aroma of cigarettes.
Mustang interiors from this era are not known to wear well, and the
good overall condition of this interior is a huge testament to the
meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout its
life,
Mechanical
This Mustang seems to be in very good mechanical condition. The car
starts right away every time, runs well, and idles smooth. It
drives great and feels nice on the road and at highway speeds. In
the video above one can observe the car accelerating on the highway
up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to
stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there
are no vibrations or strange noises and the car performs quite well
overall. The brakes do not pull to one side or the other. The
shifter is tight and the transmission shifts smooth. There is no
blue smoke when starting or driving the car. The car runs cool and
does not overheat. Also, the engine compartment is clean, detailed,
and correct as one can see in the photos.
All the exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, and power windows
work. All of the gauges work. The blower for the heater and a/c
works on all speeds. The a/c also works and blows cold. One can
observe the a/c compressor clicking on and engaging properly in the
video. There are no "check engine" or other warning lights that
stay on. The power convertible top also works well with no effort
or binding in the mechanism. The complete operation of the top
going up and down can be viewed in the video. The power locks only
work on the passenger side, the horn does not work, and the power
mirrors work in a few directions. Not enough can be said as to how
much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with the top
down on a beautiful day.
Overall Condition
Overall, this 1990 Mustang LX is in magnificent driver condition.
The low miles, the beautiful original 7UP color combination, and
the excellent overall condition make this car especially important
and hard to duplicate. It is very hard to find a Mustang LX from
this era that is still in great original condition with low mileage
as most were used and abused. This Mustang always gets a ton of
attention driving down the road. It is apparent that the vehicle
has been well taken care of by its previous owners. The prices of
Fox body Mustangs increased considerably over the past several
years. They are secure and wise investments for a collector. One
could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for
more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
