Vehicle Description
"Who hasn't fallen for the charms of the cartoon-like Fiat 500 when
seeing one pass? The impossibly cute car is a product that
transcends functionality and utility, one that pulls at your
emotions like few other machines can. We suspect nearly every car
enthusiast could imagine themselves owning and driving an original
500, should they be able to wave a magic wand and own any selection
of cars of their choice." - Hagerty
This 1970 Fiat 500L is finished in blue over red vinyl and is
powered by an upgraded 600cc air-cooled motor paired with a 4-speed
manual transmission. The motor runs smoothly, and the transmission
shifts as would be expected from this utilitarian Italian
vehicle.
The older blue (Bleu Medio) paint shows well but is starting to
show typical areas of wear. The car features a removable engine
cover rack and roof rack for those road trips through the country
side. Inside the Fiat 500L you will find front bucket seats and an
upgraded wood dash panel, as well as a classic wood steering wheel
and shift knob. The interior has also been upgraded with accessory
Veglia gauges and a JVC stereo. The overall condition of this
interior is good with a nice patina to the upholstery.
The underside of this Fiat is very solid and does not show any
signs of heavy corrosion, the 500L is running on twelve-inch steel
wheels and wrapped with Michelin XZX tires.
Fold the black canvas roof panel back to let the sun in as you are
cruising through the back roads, be prepared for all the smiles on
any on-lookers' faces as this Fiat 500L is hard to resist.
