1955 Ford Country Squire Wagon Strong Running 272ci V8 Y-Block
Fordomatic Automatic Transmission Power Steering Original White
Exterior Paint Original Red interior (Front Seat Reupholstered) 3
Row Seating Runs and drives great! Very reliable and easy to
cruise. Interestingly, this car is coming out of an exclusive
personal car collection owned by a James Dean fan and it was
brought to our attention that this car is the exact same year,
model and color configuration that James Dean used to tow his
Porsche to and from the race track with. Some photos were provided
showing the wagon he used. No concrete evidence has been provided
linking this particular car to James Dean, however the fact remains
that he did use a 1955 Ford Country Squire in the exact same color
combination to tow his Porsche. With production numbers of these
vehicles being so low, it's fun to speculate. Maybe some historians
can provide some info? I'm providing the VIN number in the pics.
The wagon has been remarkably preserved. Still retains most of its
original paint with a few touch ups. The body is very straight.
Undercarriage is solid. It runs and drives amazing! Pump the gas
once and turn the key, she fires right up! No smoke, leaks or funny
noises. Transmission shifts smooth and she drives straight down the
road. The ultimate surf wagon! Please Note The Following **Vehicle
