power and classic Shelby GT350 styling! Under the hood, a freshly
built 302 cubic-inch V8 with HiPo rods & pistons, delivers
exhilarating performance, backed by a smooth-shifting manual
transmission that puts you in full control of every ride.
Dressed to impress, this Mustang features Shelby-style racing
stripes, side scoops, and GT350 badging, giving it the aggressive
stance of a true 1960s racer. The upgraded suspension, power
steering, and front disc brakes ensure this pony car handles just
as good as it looks.
Inside, you will find a custom Pony interior, wood-rim steering
wheel and modern gauges for the ultimate driving experience.

Let's dig into the details:
The car was stripped down to a bare shell about 10 years ago. No
significant body or frame rust was found, and all surfaces were
prepped and sealed with POR-15 before paint. The rolling shell was
sent to Seattles legend Staten Medsker for custom body mods,
assembly and paintwork. Staten worked for George Barris in his
SoCal glory days in the 1960s building the original TV Batmobile,
the Monkees roadster and many other classics and customs.
All new body seals, rubber gaskets, chassis wiring, a new complete
1966 Pony interior, a Shelby GT steering wheel and new electric
white vinyl top were installed.
New rear leaf springs were added along with KYB gas shocks on all
four corners. Stainless Steal Brake Corp slotted rotors and
calipers now make stopping safe and quick. New front to back
subframe connectors were also welded in place giving necessary
stiffness and support to the convertibles frame.
The drivetrain was also addressed. Engine is an acid-dipped 302
block. New HiPo rods & pistons with Hasting rings were used along
with a new gear-driven, high profile Edelbrock cam. The trick Flow
high compression aluminum heads are topped with a dual plane Quick
Fuel Street Performer carb that meters the gas coming from an
electric fuel pump system.
MSD ignition systems (with Accel wires) with Blaster II coil. A
custom Aluminum Be Cool radiator with electric fan solves the
always pervasive Mustang overheating issue perfectly and adds extra
HP by no needing a fan belt.
New T5 Transmission conversion operates smoothly. JME Performance
gauges add character along with gleaming chrome bumpers.
Additional Upgrades:
Upgraded Suspension, power steering Borgeson conversion & upgraded,
Rebuilt and upgraded rear end to 3.855L 8 inch True Trac, Shaft
kit, engine bay sheet metal replaced with new shock towers, wiring
harness upgrade, Superior dual Kevlar clutch, modular drive slave
and master cylinder, Peter Jackson gear drive, resealed motor,
convertible top with ne hydraulics and motor, shackle kit, leaf
springs 4.5 GTR, new heater box, New tires, newly upholstered Pony
Interior.
