Uncovered in a Utah garage in 1989, this 1930 Ford Model A became the retirement passion of a gentleman know for close attention to detail and quality work. The car was found to be very complete and solid when acquired and a complete disassemble of the car proved that to be correct. 95% of the original body is present in this car!
The car was subjected to a two-year complete restoration including the following:
Frame blasted, repaired where needed and painted
The 4 Cylinder Engine, believed to be original to the car, was rebuilt to exacting specifications
All body panels were stripped and expertly prepped for paint
Color Correct Paint, matched to original Ford Motor Company professionally applied
Upper Body is Copra Drab
Lower Body is Chickle Drab
Fenders are Ford Black
Wheels and Pinstripe is Straw
All Chrome Present on the car was new at restoration
The body was meticulously assembled to a high standard
High Quality Le Barron Bonney Interior professionally installed
While the restoration was completed in 1991, this Ford shows exceptionally well today. The odometer shows 389 miles and are reported to be ACTUAL since the restoration.
