1953 Harley Davidson Hydra-Glide Motorcycle w/Sidecar

Harley Davidson's Model 74 OHV- better known as the Hydra-Glide was introduced in 1948 as a significantly improved motorcycle, one that the telescopic " would carry the company through the next 17 years. The telescopic "Hydra-Glide'' front forks that gave the bike its name debuted the very next year.  Powering the Hydra-Glide was a 74 cu-in 55 horsepower motor that will do up 100mph in speed.  V-twin engine fed by a single carburetor, a hand-shifted three- speed with reverse gear, a hard-tail rear end, a hand-operated front drum brake, and a foot-operated rear brake.  This bike is an older restoration but still looks great today in two-tone Red and Black livery, fog lamps with visors, Plexi windscreen, dual side-view mirrors, chrome wire wheels, Leather studded seat and loaded with chrome trim.  Offered with 31678 miles at auction, however the true mileage is unknown.
