Vehicle Description
This 1968 American Motors AMX Resto-Mod is powered by a
supercharged 392ci HEMI V8 engine mated to a Dodge 4-speed
automatic transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear end. It sits on an
Art Morrison GT Sport chassis coupled with coilovers, a front sway
bar and a 4-link suspension with adjustable coilovers in the rear.
Stopping is courtesy of Wilwood power disc brakes with hydro-boost,
and the car also is equipped with power steering. Some of the body
modifications include shaved door handles, a small chop, smoothed
rear bumper, taillight shroud, lower valance and headlight shroud,
along with a hood cutout for the engine The exterior is finished in
a Pearl White paint with Silver accents. It rides on 18-inch Mickey
Thompson wheels. The interior features a combination of leather and
suede in a rich tan hue. The leather envelops the seats, dash and
door cards, while plush suede adorns the headliner. The interior
also features Dakota Digital gauges, a Pioneer stereo system with
