Vehicle Description
This 1974 Volkswagen 23-window microbus re-creation was an original
luxury Type 2 Kombi that underwent a one-year refurbishment before
being imported to the U.S. by Advance Miami in December 2024. The
exterior is finished in red with a white-painted roof and bumpers,
complemented by a retrimmed white-and-red interior. Power comes
from a rebuilt 1.6-liter air-cooled flat-4 engine with dual
carburetors, increased air and fuel intake, and a revised 4-speed
manual transaxle. The suspension has been overhauled, and the
vehicle features new brakes, new tires with inner tubes and an
upgraded steering box. Additional equipment includes chrome VW
hubcaps, painted steel wheels with trim rings, dual wood-slat roof
racks, flip-out front windows, Safari windows in the front and
rear, dual side mirrors, bright exterior trim and a retractable
cloth sunroof. The interior features three rows of bench seating
upholstered in white cloth with red accents, ceiling-mounted
courtesy lights, lap belts, a second-row padded bulkhead, chrome
grab-handles, and removable second- and third-row bench seats
secured with floor brackets and wing nuts. The white two-spoke
steering wheel frames a 120-km/h speedometer and a fuel-level
gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 1,375 kilometers
(approximately 860 miles), though total mileage is unknown. This
Volkswagen bus comes with a spare tire and import documents. **
