I have a 1995 Mercedes Benz E320 Cabriolet that needs a good home.
This classy German automobile is in fantastic shape and has only 124,366 miles on the odometer.
My father bought this fine European machine in 2008 and it has been garage kept ever since. He used it as a second vehicle for about eleven years before it was parked and stored inside (his daily driver was a 1991 Mercedes Benz 350 SD Turbo Diesel that he drove over 400,000 miles!). Recently, I brought the Cabriolet to North Carolina and have been using it around town, but as much as I would like to keep this vehicle in the family, a family health situation forces me to find a new caretaker for this gorgeous automobile.
Some recently completed work includes the following.
* New convertible top (German canvas).
* New head gasket.
* New water pump.
* New headlight switch.
* New oil pressure sending unit.
* New tires.
* New battery.
* A/C serviced and blows cold.
* Oil changed when head gasket was replaced.
The Mercedes has the original factory paint which still shines and the grey leather interior is in great shape with no rips or tears nor does the carpet have any holes or tears. The legendary and bullet-proof 3.2 litre straight six engine coupled to the smooth shifting automatic transmission propels this solid Merc down the road effortlessly with no squeaks or rattles. This E320 has a wonderful ride and it feels like you're floating on a cloud.
Some features include:
* Power steering and brakes.
* Power windows, seats, and mirrors.
* Power convertible top.
* Heated front seats.
* Drivers seat memory function.
* Kenwood head unit with CD player.
* Removable wind deflector which sits behind the front seats and stores in the large trunk.
* Rear window defroster.
* Power retractable antennae.
* Automatic climate control.
* Four wheel ABS brakes.
* Driver and passenger airbags / SRS.
The power convertible soft top operates with the flick of a switch and folds neatly below the tonneau cover. The power windows, seats, and mirrors all operate as they should and all the gauges, buttons, and switches work including the analog clock located next to the speedometer.
This MB is from the era when they were over-engineered and built to truly last for hundreds of thousands of miles. This example has good looks that turns heads wherever we go and elicits compliments and thumbs up from countless admirers.
While all the above is the good, there are a few things that are not so good.
* A few of the interior trim pieces on the windshield header and the header panel of the soft top are missing.
* The OEM / factory Mercedes Benz alloy wheels have some spots of corrosion.
* The vinyl around the center console storage area is slightly detached in a couple places.
* Rubber gasket / molding at the bottom of the windshield has detached from the glass.
* Driver's seat power headrest does not work.
* The headliner has some soiling and a small tear in the center. Unfortunately, the new German canvas top did not come with a new headliner.
This beautiful Mercedes Benz E320 Cabriolet has a clean Carfax and a clean title in my name only. Additionally, I have the service records that date back to 2008.
Vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty expressed or implied.
