Vehicle Description
This 1984 Chevy K5 Blazer named "Rip Tide" received a professional
frame-off restoration and custom build by K5 Squared in Buffalo,
Minnesota. Power comes from a modern 6.2-liter Gen 5 LT engine
paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Its foundation is a
modern Frame-Werx chassis featuring Independent Front Suspension
(IFS) with aluminum front control arms and power rack & pinion
steering, a 4-link coil rear suspension and adjustable remote
reservoir shocks. K5 Squared implemented a full convertible
conversion with a removable black hardtop. The conversion also
provides an additional 8 inches of legroom for taller occupants. It
rides on 35-inch Nitto Recon Grappler A/T tires mounted on 20-inch
Fuel wheels, with stopping handled by power-assisted disc brakes
with drilled and slotted rotors. The exterior is expertly finished
in Rapid Blue paint and features new one-piece glass windows, wing
window delete for better visibility, custom powered entry steps and
LED lights. The modern interior design features power low-back
seats, custom removable rear seat, Dakota Digital GFX gauges with
backup cam, Vintage Air, Dakota Digital climate control, power
windows, custom center console, a MOMO steering wheel and new black
carpet. Upgraded electronics include an Alpine 11-inch touchscreen,
backup camera, DroneMobile remote start with an alarm and GPS
tracking, Focal Kevlar front speakers, Focal Kevlar subwoofers and
Mosconi amplifiers. Other equipment includes a 31-gallon gas tank,
a complete marine-spec custom wire harness, 300-amp alternator and
Champion aluminum radiator. This is a fresh build completed in
January 2025 with roughly 600 test/tune miles. CARFAX shows damage
report on 01/07/1998: Accident reported. ** PREVIEW
