Vehicle Description
This 1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Ram Air III re-creation has
undergone a full frame-off restoration by a restoration shop, with
new sheet metal, paint, interior, wiring and components throughout.
Power comes from a 455ci V8 engine built by Jan-Cen Automotive,
delivering an estimated 400hp and enhanced with a dual-quad intake
and Vintage Air heat and air conditioning. A Muncie 4-speed manual
transmission and a Moser rear end efficiently transfer power to the
pavement. The vehicle is equipped with adjustable coilover front
suspension, power four-wheel disc brakes and power steering, for
enhanced handling and drivability. It rides on new BFGoodrich RWL
tires wrapped around Rallye PMD wheels. This tribute build honors
the history of the original 1969 Trans Am, a model that became an
American muscle car icon. Originally introduced as a
high-performance option for the Firebird, the Trans Am featured
functional hood air inlets, rear-facing fender scoops and a 60-inch
rear airfoil. This tribute captures the spirit of the original
while benefiting from modern performance enhancements. ** PREVIEW
