For Sale at Auction: 1962 Maserati 3500GTI in Palm Beach, Florida
This 1962 Maserati 3500 GTi is powered by a 3485cc fuel-injected
inline-6 engine paired with a ZF 5-speed manual transmission. The
vehicle was sold new in Italy before being relocated to the U.S. It
was exported to the U.K. in 2010, where it underwent a
refurbishment that was completed in 2021 and subsequently
reimported to the U.S. in 2024. It features Carrozzeria Touring
Superleggera coachwork. Work during the refurbishment included a
repaint in Metallic Blue, a retrim of the interior in gray leather
and an overhaul of the engine with updates, including new
electronic fuel injection concealed within the original Lucas
housing. The system is based on a Megasquirt ECU, Bosch injectors
and electronic ignition with six individual coil packs controlling
two spark plugs apiece. Other features include a limited-slip
differential, 4-wheel disc brakes, 16-inch Turrino wire wheels with
Borrani 3-eared knock-offs, an aluminum radiator with electric
cooling fan, stainless-steel exhaust system, power windows and a
