Vehicle Description
This 1961 Jaguar Mark IX is powered by a 3.8-liter Straight-6
engine mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. It is equipped
with four-wheel disc brakes. The paint is a one-year-only 1965 GM
color, Iris Mist for Pontiac or Evening Orchid for Chevrolet. This
car features a push-button start, dual gas tanks, pistol-trigger
interior door handles, sunroof, eating backseat trays, polished
wood and a dash-mounted parade mode switch that locks the car in
second gear. Fully restored over the last two years, starting from
a good example that included body and paint, interior, all glass
polished, weatherstripping, rechrome of all 74 pieces, brakes,
tires, hoses, belts, filters, clamps, rebuilt steering box, engine,
transmission, rear end service and reseal, and undercarriage care.
