Vehicle Description
With a complete restoration, this 1954 Chevrolet Corvette custom
convertible is built from an all-original body. It is powered by a
GM Performance 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine mated to a 4L65E 4-speed
automatic transmission with overdrive. It is equipped with a GM
wiring harness and computer, as well as a Be Cool all-aluminum
polished radiator with an electric fan. The body-off restoration
included the original frame modified with a Jim Meyers front
coilover suspension, including power rack & pinion steering with
power disc brakes all around. It rolls on chrome Z06-style wheels.
It is finished 2015 PPG Corvette Crystal Red Tri-Coat paint with
some additional pearl added. Some of the suspension parts are
painted to match the exterior and accent the completely refinished
frame painted in PPG Corvette Doe Skin Beige. It has a new soft-top
and a powder-coated frame with matching Stayfast material. The Al
Knoch custom beige leather interior has adjustable and reclining
seats and is accented with red ostrich leather. The complementary
beige doeskin dash has Dakota Digital gauges with beige lighting. A
new radio allows for CD and iPod connectivity. The trunk is fully
covered and finished in matching beige and red ostrich. The car
retains a compressor with a block plate, but air conditioning is
