Vehicle Description
This 1957 Ford Thunderbird convertible is powered by a 312ci
Y-block V8 engine. Under the hood, upgrades include a new Holley
carburetor, electric fuel pump, aluminum radiator, Powermaster
alternator, Borgeson 14:1 ratio power-assisted steering box and a
new steering pump. The power brake booster improves braking
performance with the stock drum brakes. Previously part of the Tom
Martin Museum Collection, it has been concours-restored and
underwent a one-year recommission to ensure roadworthiness. The car
retains its classic appearance while incorporating modern upgrades.
The exterior is finished in Dusk Rose, with ceramic coating applied
to the paint. The windows have been tinted with 70% ceramic film to
improve comfort in hot climates. Holley RetroBright headlights have
been installed for better nighttime visibility. Inside, the car
features a Vintage Air under-dash air conditioning system. A
smaller 15-inch OEM replica steering wheel is mounted on a chrome
Flaming River steering column. The interior lights have been
upgraded to LED bulbs, including the dashboard dials. The car also
has a Town and Country reproduction radio with Bluetooth
connectivity and added seatbelts. The sale includes the removed
parts, for those wanting to return it to stock, along with service
records, service manuals and a new hardtop stand/glider. ** PREVIEW
