Customized with a unique one-piece tilt-forward hood, this 1956
Ford F-100 displays a bold Burnt Orange Metallic upper and Pewter
lower color combination. The two colors are divided by a precise
silver pinstripe that continues from the hood onto the door and
along the bedside. Custom modifications include vertical taillights
inset into the rear, a clean bumper delete, and a modified grille
arrangement. The exhaust exits as side pipes along the step-side
body, while 20" chrome multi-spoke wheels fitted with 255/35/20
tires give this F-100 a planted, modern appearance without losing
its classic truck identity.
The interior welcomes you with tan vinyl and suede covering custom
bucket seats that feature full-width backrests. Tan door panels
include blue piping and orange accents that tie in with the
exterior colors. The reimagined dash sports airbrushed flames
across its face and houses digital gauges mounted in an aluminum
panel. A JVC Bluetooth head unit sits in the fully custom center
console next to the B&M shifter and a full control panel for
the truck's various functions. Cup holders are positioned
conveniently behind the controls. The wood and chrome steering
wheel adds a final custom touch to this truck's interior.
The motive force comes from a Ford 460 V8 that uses a dual intake
arrangement with twin air filters connected to an Edelbrock
4-barrel carburetor. A C6 3-speed automatic transmission directs
power to a Ford 8.8 rear end. The suspension has been upgraded with
independent front control arms, coil springs, and power steering,
complemented by a rear solid axle using a 4-link arrangement with
coilovers. Four-wheel disc brakes provide stopping capability. The
exhaust system runs through stock-style manifolds and FlowMaster
mufflers. Additional mechanical upgrades include an aluminum
radiator with dual electric fans and an updated alternator for
improved electrical output.
