Meticulous body off frame restoration, even the undercarriage is
buffed! The 396 engine has electronic fuel injection for added
reliability, and the 4 speed trans is there for added fun. This is
the quintessential cruiser that is done totally right and ready to
roll!
EXTERIOR: The paint is laid out with expert precision to detail. It
has a very reflective and smooth finish. Looking down the side of
the body it is 100% laser straight with smooth contours and crisp
lines. The panels are all precisely aligned with nice tight gaps
that rival a new Lexus. The doors close easily with minimal effort.
It's totally decked out with an SS hood, front grille, tail panel,
and the correct emblems. The canvas top is brand new. All the
glass, rubber seals, and even fuzzy strips were replaced. The
chrome has a glorious shine. It's sitting on a gorgeous set of
staggered aftermarket rally style wheels that are 17" up front and
18" in the rear. They are wrapped in performance tires.
INTERIOR: With power windows and a power top these cars don't get
any easier to use. The knee knocker tachometer is such a cool
option. The seats were reupholstered. All the door panels, arm
rests and levers were replaced. The seatbelts are new. The
convertible top frame was refurbished and the canvas top is new.
The sun visors and rearview mirror also look new. The dash has
extra air vents added and the pad was replaced. A retro stereo fits
nicely in the factory hole. The electronic fuel injection
controller is easily accessible, and the climate control is a nice
original. It also has additional factory gauges and the steering
wheel is in excellent condition. The carpeting was replaced, and of
course, the Hurst 4 speed manual shifter is a blast to throw
around.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This 396 roller engine looks so fresh and
clean. It's topped off with an Aces electronic fuel injection
system and an Edelbrock intake manifold for added reliability. It
also has an aftermarket fuel pressure valve and gauge. It's
equipped with a hydraulic clutch, air conditioning, power steering,
and power brakes with a proportioning valve. It has a new Champion
Cold Case aluminum radiator and upgraded aluminum water pump to
keep it cool. The chrome air cleaner and valve covers really dress
things up. The battery is properly secured. The horn and squirters
are hooked up. The underside of the hood and firewall are both
painted body color. What a pretty and proper engine bay!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted just
like the body. The weatherstrip was replaced. Inside is all solid
metal with a neatly applied spatter finish paint. The latch
mechanism is even new.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame. The floors and braces are
immaculate metal painted base coat/clear coat Cortez Silver just
like the body. The frame and chassis were also prepped and painted
semi-gloss black. It has an all new brake system including lines,
hoses, and e-brake assembly, plus it's a disc conversion up front.
There is a new fuel system including the tank, and a full custom
dual exhaust with Accelerator mufflers. All the suspension and
steering has been completely replaced. Looking up at the engine
it's spotless Chevy Orange and has a high torque starter. The Borg
Warner 4 speed manual trans is fresh. It also has a beefy 12 bolt
rear end.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
This SS clone comes equipped with all the trimmings! Whether this
is your first or fourteenth collector car it will be your favorite
because the quality of restoration is so darn good. I don't have
anything else to say, cars this nice sell themselves!
