A muscle machine built for speed, this 1971 Ford Torino Cobra
Tribute shows off its athletic body with a fresh blue paint job
completed within the last year. This Ford displays its performance
heritage through bold black hood vinyl and a distinctive tri-color
stripe running from the quarter panels to the front fenders. The
Cobra badge on the front grille signals its performance aspirations
to anyone who dares look its way. Rear window louvers add authentic
70s flair, completing the muscular appearance. The body sits
perfectly on 14-inch wheels wrapped in 225/70R14 tires, giving this
Torino the ideal street-ready stance that makes American muscle
cars legendary.
The black vinyl interior provides the perfect control room for
high-speed action. New carpeting covers the floor while the dash
presents a factory layout with the original-style instrument
cluster, gauges, climate controls, and AM radio. Both front and
rear vinyl seats have been recovered for improved comfort without
sacrificing the authentic look. The floor-mounted shifter for the
4-speed manual transmission sits in easy reach, ready for quick
shifts through the gears. The well-fitted headliner adds the
finishing touch to this classic cabin, creating a space where
performance and comfort meet.
The 351 Cleveland V8 was rebuilt five years ago to Cobra
specifications and wears Ford blue paint. This V8 breathes better
thanks to an upgraded Holley 4-barrel carburetor that replaced the
factory 2-barrel setup. The 4-speed manual transmission, rebuilt
just one year ago, sends power to the Ford 9-inch rear end. Front
suspension features coil springs, shocks, and a sway bar, while the
rear uses leaf springs with shocks for improved handling. Power
disc brakes provide excellent stopping ability, and the dual
exhaust with Cherry Bomb mufflers produces that unmistakable muscle
car sound that makes other drivers take notice.
