Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 26th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Ford Motor Company had been
building popular automobiles for over two decades when Eugene Bob
Gregorie penned the classic lines of the 1940 Ford. Equipped with
the legendary flathead V8, this jewel was recognized as an instant
classic from day one and the passage of time has only added to its
prestige. This magnificent 1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible Coupe
restomod is an outstanding example of these fabled machines. Lift
the classic triangular hood and you'll find a sturdy Ford EFI 302
V8 that will run all day without protest. Additional features
include power steering, power front disc brakes, custom leather
interior with power driver's seat, air conditioning, Ford AOD
4-speed automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter, a beautiful
LeBaron Bonney Haartz cloth convertible top, tilt steering column,
a Bill Thomas Ford 9 rear end assembly, a JVC audio system, and
wide whitewall tires (195/75R15 F, 225/75R15 R) wrapped around
correct Ford Steelies with caps and rings. I am admittedly a fan of
'40 Fords, but I've honestly never seen a better example. I truly
believe that this car could drive to either coast without issue.
That's saying something about an 85 year-old chariot! Also, please
take note of the exquisitely restored dash and gauges. Absolutely
stunning. This is the kind of car that only comes along once in a
blue moon...or perhaps, never, so if you're interested in this
stunning piece of automotive history, don't hesitate to call. One
more top-shelf, investment-grade stunner from the Texas Hill
Country's premier source for classic cars and the team that can
make your dream a reality.
