restomod is an outstanding example of these fabled machines. Lift
the classic triangular hood and you'll find a sturdy Ford EFI 302
V8 that will run all day without protest. Additional features
include power steering, power front disc brakes, custom leather
interior with power driver's seat, air conditioning, Ford AOD
4-speed automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter, a beautiful
LeBaron Bonney Haartz cloth convertible top, tilt steering column,
a Bill Thomas Ford 9 rear end assembly, a JVC audio system, and
wide whitewall tires (195/75R15 F, 225/75R15 R) wrapped around
correct Ford Steelies with caps and rings. I am admittedly a fan of
'40 Fords, but I've honestly never seen a better example. I truly
believe that this car could drive to either coast without issue.
