Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 26th year in the
classic and muscle car business. O.K., Mopar fans. Here's some
juicy red meat for your Pentastar dining pleasure. In the nearly
150 years of automotive history, there have been a handful of
engines that stand above and apart from the rest, often for various
reasons. A Ferrari V12's beloved top end shriek, Chevy's ubiquitous
100 million+ small blocks, and Ford's revolutionary flathead V8 all
have honored places in the Pantheon of great engines. But when it
comes to reverential, whispered, chill-inducing conversations about
legendary engines, Chrysler's fabled 426 Hemi has few peers. Forced
by NASCAR to build a production version of their dominant race
Hemi, the iconic Street Hemi was unleashed on an unsuspecting
public for 1966. This wild 1973 Plymouth Barracuda may not have
been born with a Hemi, but this beast can rattle the rafters now!
Lift the awesome Shaker hood and you'll see the massive legend; 426
cubic inches of crate Hemi that's sporting beautiful stainless
steel long tube headers, MSD ignition, a March serpentine belt
system, and an aluminum radiator. Additional features include power
steering, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted
rotors, an A727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission, a QA1 4-link
rear suspension with adjustable coilovers, a Magnum Force tubular
K-member assembly with A-arms and coilovers, console, front and
rear spoilers, a JVC audio system, and massive Foose alloy wheels
wrapped with low profile tires (245/45ZR18 F, 275/35ZR20 R). This
big fish makes every pond seem small and it transforms every road
into Woodward Avenue! Preferred stock shares in tire and oil
companies not included. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full
service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery,
insurance, and financing options.
