LS5 454
This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette LS5 454 is the third generation of the
Chevrolet Corvette and many improvements to performance and
handling arrived with this generation Corvette. Many enthusiasts
are drawn toward the early C3 Corvettes for their chrome bumpers, a
distinct feature of this 1971. This example is powered by the LS5
motor, a 454 cubic inch big block motor rated at 365 horsepower
from the factory and backed by a TH400 Auto transmission. This has
been verified as a number matching engine with the correct CPJ
suffic and vin stamp. Finished in its original Brand Hatch Green
exterior over Green Deluxe Interior. The removable T-tops add the
versatility of open air motoring. Options include Bucket Seats,
Astro Ventilation Glass Tilt Steering Column, 4 Wheel Power Disc
Brakes and Power Steering.
Lift the hood and see an engine bay filled with big-block power.
This numbers-matching 454 cubic-inch LS5 V8 is factory racted at
365hp and 460ft lbs of Torque! It has a bold but stock look with
the vibrant orange block, matching valve covers, and a bright air
grabber that still has the proper GM decal. There's nothing quite
like turning the key and hearing this LS5 motor awaken. The big
Rochester four-barrel carburetor lets the V8 inhale deeply. It's a
strong runner that loves to give that big block tune out of the
dual exhaust. The Th400 transmission puts you in the center of all
the action. Fully independent suspension, power steering,
four-wheel power disc brakes, and the Tilt Column make it easy to
enjoy this! Dont forget this is a 1971 year only color!
