This is a great opportunity to own a rare 1965 GTO convertible with the 389 tri power. There were only 11,311 GTO convertibles made in 65 and a limited number of those had the 389 3X2.
I have the PHS documents to verify this is a factory built 3X2.
This car was purchased by my uncle in 1973 and he stopped driving shortly after due to an issue with the top.
The engine was completely rebuilt in the late 70's and the car has been sitting in a garage until a few years ago.
My uncle was working on getting this car back on the road when he passed away. Lots of new parts, bumpers, moldings, emblems, radio, door handles and more.
The seats have been redone, all of the interior panels and carpet are new along with a new top.
The body is very straight and the paint is new but there are a couple of flaws. I have started and moved the car in and out of the garage.
You will need a trailer, this is a project car.
