For Sale: 2001 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 in Van Buren, Arkansas

Vehicle Description

 Mileage: 54,064 actual miles
Picture of the original window sticker in the photo's section  The three close ups are of road rash, (rock chinks) plus a picture of clear coat damage to a wheel,  Probably from the tire machine when ties were being replaced?  There is also two lines of solvent popping in the paint across the panel behind the t-tops.  Was not able to get good pictures, but I can try again if your interested.  Found this on-line.

The sail panel (on t-top cars) or the entire roof (on hardtops) of 1998 to 2002 Fbody cars may have a factory defect. If you park your car out in the sun, little bubbles about the size of a pinhead start appearing on the roof. This problem is caused by the glue used to hold the plastic roof on. The glue degasses and the gas travels up through the panel. Eventually it leaves these nice little bubbles in your paint.

A little about my self,  I bought this car when I was in my early 50's, (18 years ago).  This was the hotrod that I wished I could afford when I was a teenager.  I did have a couple of modifications made by a local performance shop.  Not that I was going out driving fast in my 50's and 60's, it was more about building my dream car.  I had a street cam swap and a Borla exhaust system added.  The exhaust was a cat back system so the Catalytic converters are still in place.  Also had the engine tuned for the new adds.  The exhaust system has a good sound and the cam is mild enough that there is not a noticeable lope.  Then I went a step further and had the rear gears changed from   323 to 393.  Use the same performance shop and we used new GM gears instead of aftermarket.  The gear swap was the bump I was after when I originally decided to swap the cam.  These mods have no impact on driving the car and would not be noticed by most If I didn't point them out or you had a stock version of this car that you drove regularly.  The difference is this car has more get up and go than it did before.
