1972 Dodge Challenger Hardtop Factory 318 V8 numbered Vin, upgraded
to a 1972 340CID block in 1997. Has factory 904 auto transmission,
8-3/4 rear. Was Lemon twist yellow from factory, painted Hemi
orange with black TA stripes 2 times, paint has extra strong layer
of sealant type primer preventing moisture. Factory undercoating
still in place in many parts of the chassis and body panels.
Vehicle has been in a storage rental since 2009 , has not been
started since. Engine has 55K since it was rebuilt 30 over and has
a direct connection mild purple cam, holley 4bbl aluminum intake,
Mopar performance 9:1 performance pistons, crank bearings I think
were done 10 over. Front end has all poly upper and lower control
arm bushings, tie rods and ball joints are all Moog or TRW with
zert fittings....same for idler and pitman arm. Power steering
control box is a rebuilt unit from NAPA, has a thick speed shop
type front sway bar mounted to factory control arms with brackets.
New windshield washer box. Driver bucket seat has been restored
with Year one replacement material, needs new trunklid, driver
fender and front grille and header panel. Has hooker headers and
Magnaflow dual exhaust mufflers and exit thru an original factory
dual exhaust rear splash. Trunk has some rust but was treated with
rust preventing paint, driver floorboard has a hole near the
highbeam switch. Roof is perfect, no rust but needs new interior
