***Vehicle Located in MA - Zoom Classic Cars presents this 1966
Ford Thunderbird Sport Roadster Tribute Convertible. As Thunderbird
enthusiasts know, Ford did not build a Sport Roadster in 1966 but a
FL company made the Fiberglass Tonneau Cover that buyers could
order to create a Tribute Sport Roadster and this one is a fine
example. Featuring the 390CI 4 barrel engine situated in a very
clean engine compartment. Rebuilt 4 Speed C-6 Automatic
transmission with shift on the column and 96K Original Miles. Power
steering, brakes, windows and locks all function as they should.
Black vinyl interior with bucket seats in excellent condition and
full console. Full gauge cluster including a very cool Rolling
Speedometer that moves left to right as speed increases. Factory
AM/FM radio. AC has been converted to R134 and works as it should.
Red repaint in excellent condition that shines brightly with only a
very few minor imperfections that can be remedied with touch up
that comes with the car. All the body panels line up nicely on the
vehicle and all the Chrome, stainless and badging are intact and in
excellent condition. Black power convertible top in excellent
condition that works perfectly and in a remarkable ballet of
mechanical and electronic wizardry directly related to the
'retractable' hardtops of the 1950s, folds away neatly within the
trunk compartment. With the added Tonneau Cover that fits
seamlessly over the back seats, your 4 seat T-Bird transforms into
the great looks of a Factory Sports Roadster. Undercarriage of the
car is very clean and solid with no evidence of rust and features a
dual exhaust glasspak set-up that sounds great. The car rides
smoothly on 15 inch wheels with factory factory wheel covers.
Meticulously maintained and always garaged, this T-bird has many
new parts, comes with clean MA title in the owner's name, car cover
and a binder of receipts and documentation for all work performed
by the current owner. This T-Bird is turnkey and runs, drives and
handles 100%. Call Jeff for additional info. Thanks for Looking.
