1961 Ford Galaxie Coupe featuring rebuilt, customized and chromed
out 390CI engine with New Quick Fuel Technology Carb, custom chrome
valve covers and chrome air filter situated in a very clean engine
compartment and coupled with an automatic transmission with Lokar
floor shift. Last year of the classic rear fins on the Galaxie
model. FL car owned for the last 3 years and many upgrades made
since purchase. Custom Brown Metallic paint in overall excellent
condition. Very nice bench seat interior in like new condition with
console and cup holders along with beautiful painted full gauge
dash with added Pro-Comp Ultra lite aftermarket gauges for Water
temp, voltage and Oil Pressure. Stock looking AM/FM stereo. All the
body panel line up nicely on the car and all of the chrome and
stainless trim along the sides, rear trunk lid and rear fenders are
intact in in excellent overall condition. Car has Power Electric
Steering, Power Brakes and Vintage AC recently added. Trunk
compartment is very clean with full mat, spare tire and jack
equipment. Current owner also upgraded the engine with aluminum
heads and mild cam and added a Gear Vendor kit to the transmission
which was completely rebuilt giving the car a 4th overdrive gear.
Also added new chrome serpentine belt to drive all engine
components. Exhaust system is newer and has electric cutouts
underneath with a switch on the dash to change up the exhaust notes
when desired. 2 1/2 inch exhaust pipes with Gibson Chrome tips
exiting the rear. Coil over adjustable suspension in the front.
Slotted rotors with Wilwood disc brakes and Custom Ridler wheels
all around mounted with new Sumitomo HTR ZII tires. Car runs,
drives and handles beautifully. Horn kit and cover ordered for the
GT steering wheel and will be installed before sale. Car comes with
full cover is stored in MA with clean title in the owner's name.
