The DVR GT40 has been featured in and on Road & Track,
Petrolicious, Ford Authority, Yahoo! News, Rare Car Network, Ride
With Norman Reedus, Featured Story in the Hagerty "Why I Drive"
Series and was a featured episode focusing on auto enthusiasts and
their special cars, the footage later being used for a Hagerty
commercial that aired during the US broadcast of the 24 Hour of Le
Mans. It has been featured in a coffee table book about custom and
handbuilt cars entitled "Drive - Custom Cars and Their Builders" by
German Publisher Gestalten Press. The world of gaming and
simulators have also embraced the DVR GT40 in the popular platform
Gran Turismo. The livery design appears as both the original MKI
and the 2006 Ford GT. Renders by game artist C. Badwin. Master
craftsman Karsten Schmidt of Fine Model Cars in Germany recreated a
highly detailed 1/8 scale model of the Dean Vintage Racing GT40.
