Vehicle Description
2007 Nissan Murano SL AWD
Prior to 2007, the Murano, introduced in 2003, was Nissan's only
crossover SUV. It was designed at Nissan America in La Jolla,
California and presented with a fresh look and a unique tail light
treatment that rolled up the red lenses flush with the rounded
back. As the brochure touted, "Murano leads with innovation. And
follows through with devotion to the smallest detail. Motion has a
fresh shape. An unmistakable exterior that draws you in."
For consignment, a 2007 Nissan Murano SL AWD with a title verified
182,316 actual miles. This pampered ride has been well sorted with
new items that include a recent tune up, new shocks and struts,
radiator, lower control arm and ball joints, brakes and rotors. The
transmission sports 83,000 miles.
Exterior
The paint and overall condition belie the odometer and it's clear
that our consignor cared for this daily driver as the Pewter Gray
Metallic two stage shines bright and body trim is straight and
clean. The integrated chrome grille adopts the angles of the
streamlined nose and is flanked by triangular and flush projector
headlights which are positioned below a rising hood. Typical slab
sides give way to an upturned rear section that surrounds a
triangle quarter window which points up to the slight overhang over
the rear window with third brake light embedded. The rounded back
and flush LED tail lights still looks fresh in 2025 and the brushed
aluminum bumper guard adds a touch of ruggedness to this family
SUV. 20-inch 6 spoke alloy wheels hold 65 series tires and roof
rails flank a sunroof to complete the exterior features.
Imperfections include a spot of missing paint and a minor
scuff.
Interior
Tan textured plastic mixes with smooth gray plastic on the door
panels to create a clean and handsome presentation that once again
counter what you would expect with a vehicle with this mileage.
Some wear does show up on the driver's seat, as expected, which is
constructed of tan leather while the passenger seat and rear bench
look barely used and are in great shape. A leather wrapped steering
wheel fronts a nickel colored instrument cluster with orange
backlit gauges in a triple pod, red needles for contrast. More
clean lines abound on the center stack which perches a screen on
top of a nickel fronted control panel for the AM/FM/Cassette/CD
radio and climate controls. A flat topped center console houses the
tan handled shifter and heated seat toggles along with the
requisite storage compartment. Tan loop carpet is protected by
rubber mats which have done their job to preserve the condition of
the carpet while the headliner and ceiling in general is a clean
and active zone with handles, the sunroof, and light panel. A
fitted Nissan rubber mat covers the cargo area and is ready for
soccer equipment!
Drivetrain
The clean engine bay is dominated by the large plastic shield
letting onlookers know that it's a 3.5 liter V6, rated at 240
horsepower and mated to a Jatco JT010E CVT transmission that is a
replacement unit with 83,000 miles on it. With AWD configuration,
the power is split between front and rear, both with 5.17 gears.
New power disc brakes are found front and rear.
Undercarriage
Driver quality underneath but astoundingly clean for a PA truck,
more evidence of good care and likely a garaged existence. There's
some typical surface rust in places but no errant fluids to be
seen. New Macpherson struts are up front and coil springs in the
back, with new shocks also reported. As noted, new control arms and
ball joints are on board. The single exhaust flows through a stock
style muffler and exits at two chrome tips in the back.
Drive-Ability
No surprises here, a well kept Japanese SUV with all the bells and
whistles afforded you in 2007 makes for a pleasant ride and an easy
daily driver. Add the benefit of AWD and surefootedness is assured.
